Brazil Announce 23-man World Cup Squad



The five-time World Cup champions have been drawn in Group E, where they will face Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia, and many expect them to go far in Russia.
Tite previously confirmed 15 names of his squad for the tournament, which starts in exactly one month's time, and has now named the rest of the players.
Dani Alves did not make the squad after picking up a serious injury in Paris Saint-Germain's Coupe de France final victory. He has been replaced by Manchester City right-back Danilo, while Neymar recovered in time to be named in Tite's selection.
The South American giants were the first team qualify for Russia 2018, and are among the favourites for the World Cup. They have lined up friendlies against Croatia (3 June) and Austria (10 June) before starting their World Cup against Switzerland on 17 June.
